FORUM:
On Handcrafting Colors
Between manipulating colors, to creating them as a form of guiding palettes for artworks or products, listen to both panelists, sharing their insights with over 30 years and more of experience working with colors such as legendary painter, Tajuddin Ismail and Reita Rahim, who collaborates with Orang Asal to design craft products for the modern market.

TALK SESSION:
Colors of Asia
Heavily researched prints on colors of one of the most diverse societies on the planet, were sold out. While the publication on Colors of Asia saw a limited print, the breadth of material from the publication was immense. Listen to the man who co-curated the project, William Harald Wong along with invited guests as we dive deep into what influences us, and how colors are shared throughout this region, called Asia.

DIALOGUE:
Academics’ Role in Shaping Public Awareness of Design
Will academic role in design education to the public in Malaysia involve promoting awareness, encouraging creative thinking, and engaging communities (via workshops, exhibitions, and public lectures). They bridge the gap between institutions and society, making design more accessible and demonstrating its value in everyday life .
In this intimate and engaging session, we invited some of the leading Design educators and guests, which will share their thoughts and ideas on how public design awareness can impact society better.

Design KL Global
We invite students and aspiring visionaries to come and draw a vision of how Kuala Lumpur can be one of the leading Design capitals of the world. The program, led by Datuk Prof. Ian Davies @ Hj Iskandar Abdullah from CitySage, conducts a workshop that encourages the students to draw inspiration from the best ideas from the world.

The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the workplace is becoming more common, as machine learning models continue to grow more sophisticated in their processes. For designers and creatives, this presents unique questions about creativity and authenticity in the production of work. What remains to be seen is whether AI will serve as a powerful tool for designers, or ultimately substitute their role in the service industry. We invite a panel of experts to share their opinions and aspirations about how AI is changing the way we think and work.
